What is a Health Coach?
Coaching is a unique and personal experience that focuses on guiding the client to identify and achieve their goals and desired lifestyle. Health Coaches specialize in health-related behaviors and implementing sustainable lifestyle changes to support optimal health of the client.
Why should I work with a Health Coach?
People come to health coaches for many different reasons. The one thing they all have in common is, “I’m tired of feeling this way, and I am ready to take action on taking care of myself and my health.”
A few common reasons for seeking out Health Coaching include:
You have some form of a chronic ailment and want support in identifying and addressing the underlying causes.
You would like guidance in education and resources on how to incorporate healthy lifestyle habits.
You know what lifestyle changes you need/ want to make, and you want support and guidance to achieve them.
You suffer from any of the following:
Chronic digestion pain (IBS, bloating, constipation, diarrhea, etc.)
Chronic fatigue
Energy levels are not regular
Poor sleep
Over or under weight
Chronic stress
What do I get by working with you?
You will have me as a consistent support for your health journey. After your initial consultation, we will meet twice per month to check in with your progress and make necessary adjustments to your program.
You will also receive gifts and resources from me that will help support your journey. These may include things such as: books, tongue scraper, dry brush, and more.
How do you conduct appointments?
Appointments will be held virtually.
*In-person sessions may be requested if client is willing/ able to meet up at a local cafe in Ann Arbor or Ypsilanti.
How soon will I see results?
Results are bio-individual. Some may see results as soon as a few days, for others, it may take a month or two.
The programs are 6 months because that is the amount of time it takes to really implement lifestyle changes.
Is this a weight-loss program?
It can be. Each program is tailored to the client’s individual health goals. If weight loss is a goal for you, then the program will be supportive of that through healthful means.
